Cucumber Raita (Server For Four)

  • 1 ½ cup fat free yogurt
  • 1 medium size cucumber
  • ½ tsp black salt
  • ½ medium size radish, scraped and grated
  • ½ tsp sugar
Image Placeholder 1 tsp ground roasted cumin (dry roast the cumin seeds for few seconds until golden color then grind.) In a mixing bowl beat the yogurt with a wire whisk until smooth. Peel the cucumber and grate it. Squeeze out the excess water, mix yogurt, cucumber, salt and sugar. Sprinkle ground roasted cumin over the raita and serve.
